COVID policy, Swing Fling 2022 – (updated May 12, 2022)
We are a community! Dance Jam Productions has set event policies that we believe include the best tools currently available to help reduce the risks of COVID spread while enjoying our time together. We are grateful for your cooperation. Everyone participating at Swing Fling 2022 must be:
- Fully vaccinated as recommended by CDC
- Freshly tested COVID-negative.
Use our online registration system to submit a photo of your vaccination card before you register. The day you arrive at the event, upload a picture of your recent PCR test result [taken within 48 hours] OR a same-day rapid test. Please plan ahead. COVID testing & test kits are available at low- or no-cost in many places. We will also have a limited quantity of test kits available for purchase at Swing Fling.
- Masking is optional. We strongly support individuals who choose to wear a mask any time to protect yourself or as a courtesy to those around you.
- If you feel unwell, stay home or self-isolate. If you are sick, develop COVID symptoms or test COVID-positive we will promptly refund your ticket purchase and require you to return home or self-isolate. In addition to day-of-arrival testing, we may ask you to take an additional, supervised COVID test at any time. If you refuse to take a test upon our request, you will be escorted from the event without refund.
We appreciate your cooperation with these policies. We look forward to working with you to make sure our community is as safe as possible and able to share the gift of dance together soon. If at any time prior to Swing Fling you decide you are uncomfortable with our safety plan or code of conduct expectations, we will refund your ticket purchase with no questions asked.
